Remodelling
Some pieces carry too much meaning to simply sit in a drawer.
An engagement ring from a grandmother. A necklace worn every day for forty years. A bracelet inherited before it could be fully understood. These are not just jewellery. They are memory made material.
At Proctors, we work with customers to give treasured pieces a new life — redesigned with care, reset with intention, and worn with the same meaning that made them significant in the first place.
What we do
Heirloom remodelling is the process of taking an existing piece of jewellery — whether inherited, gifted, or simply no longer worn — and transforming it into something new without losing what matters. We may reset a stone into a contemporary setting, repurpose gold into a new form, or redesign an entire piece while preserving the elements that hold meaning.
Every project begins with a conversation. We want to understand the piece, its history, and what you hope it might become.
How it works
We begin by sitting with you — in store in Bundaberg, or by phone or video if you are elsewhere in Australia — to understand the piece and what you are hoping to achieve. From there, we develop a design concept, provide a detailed quote, and proceed only when you are entirely comfortable.
The process is unhurried. Good work takes time, and these pieces deserve it.
Begin the conversation
If you have a piece that deserves a new chapter, we would be glad to hear its story. Book a consultation with our team, or contact us with any questions.
